The finishing should be done according to
the following instructions:
- Remove towels and other textiles from the
bathroom (this can be done by the customer)
- Eventual silicone seamings removes or covers .
- Eventual cracks
and hollows in the tub smooths using polyester filler (ex. Plastic
Padding).
- Frosting, washing and drying of the bathtub according to
the manufacturer’s instructions.
- The drain cover removes, if possible.
- Eventual valves and windows covers in the
bathroom.
- Water taps covers with plastic bag. Water
musn´t drop on bathtub during the finishing.
- The bathroom has to be completely dustless
before and during the finishing.
- Since the work is done following 24 hours
- Do not open the bathroom window during the
first 24 hours. Cold and humid air can affect the finish.
- The bathtub surface is dustdry not sooner than
in 5 hours after the work is done. Therefore, keep the bathroom door
closed.
- You can remove the coverings and tapes the
next day after the work is done. You can now use the bathroom. Do not
remove the plastic bag over water taps.
- In 24 hours after the work is done, you can
open the window and air the bathroom. Please, note that the
temperature has to remain constant in the bathroom.
- Total drying period 5 days
- Please, note that the bathtub cannot be used
during the whole drying period. Follow the instructions below.
- The temperature has to be at least + 22° C during the
whole drying period.
- Make sure that no water drops on the bathtub.
- You can have any temperature you like in the
bathroom
- You can now fasten the eventually removed
drain cover.
- You can now do the eventual silicone seamings.
- You can now remove the plastic bags covering
the water taps.
- Instructions to use and clean the
"new" bathtub
- Clean the bathtub with liquid household
cleaner (ex. Fairy) and soft sponge. Do not use scouring powder in order to avoid scratching the
surface.
- If you use bubble bath or bath salts, run first
water into the bathtub and then add the foam or salts. These chemicals
may tarnish the enamel finish.
- Medicated baths may contain colouring agents
which may dye the bathtub. (The risk is the same with all the
bathtubs, even those with original enamel finish.)
Avoid using hard objects in the bathtub, ex.
washing dogs or taping the waste water from washing maskin is not
recommended.
